Captain Bly Low Country Charters

Family Fishing in the Charleston waterway

Dedicated to ensuring every family can have the Low Country fishing experience in the Charleston and surrounding areas

About

Captain Bly Low Country Charters recognizes the need for family fishing.  We realize that not everyone has budgeted all that is required to go  out in the surrounding waters and take their family fishing. With the cost of a boat, bait, licenses, fishing poles and everything else associated, most families just cannot experience what the Low Country has to offer. We remove all of those boundaries for you and offer anyone the ability to hop on a  boat and just fish. We also offer Boat Rides, Sunset Cruises, Tube rides for the kids, as well a fun filled afternoon for adults too.  Want to go on a photography trip to capture the beauty of the Low Country marshland? We can accommodate that too. Captain Bly Low Country Charters offers it all  at reasonable rates. Call today.

Captain Bly

Captain Bly
Captain Bly was born in the Azores and has loved fishing as long as he can remember. As a young boy he would go fishing with his family as often as possible as this was his time to bond with them. He's been boating since 1978 starting with a small sailboat his sister won in a drawing.
He takes his Captain's name from his mother and it serves him well as a remembrance of how much his mother loved the water. Patsy Jean Bly passed one year to the day prior to purchasing her, a 2008 197 Pioneer Sport Fish, and the name instantly was realized. The Patsy Jean looks after the Captain every time he goes out whether it's a short fishing trip in the creek, or across the harbor in rough tides, or a nearshore trip out the jetties. His mother ensures he and all his passengers stay safe every time they venture out on her.
